We attest to the adage you reap what you sow.'
It is one of the pillars on which CPH has been erected back in 1977 and still in
application to this date. The fruits of your labor will never go unrecognized.
Soon enough, you'll know that all the conditions for them to ripen are readily
available for your harvest.
The corporate reputation for being a tolerant and vivacious environment precedes
it. But once you set foot, an unprecedented experience is in store for you.
Needless to say challenges are a given in a publishing house, let alone one
with budding potentials and a sky-scraping scope. You will have to roll up your
sleeves for some hard work and sweat. You will also have to be quick on the
decision-making, displaying astuteness with clients and pumping new blood into
the firm. Dedication is required on your part. By being motivated to go the
extra mile, the road ahead will lead straight to fulfillment and recognition.
You will be given the incentive to aim higher and to spread your wings.
A CPH remuneration package is as tempting as the incumbent's credentials. The
base salaries are a sweet Jack-in-a-box and the accompanying benefits are
draped in red ribbon. Here are some of the benefits that you are eligible for
once onboard:
Medical Coverage
Upon completion of the preliminary 3-month probation period, employees are
given the choice between the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) insurance and
the alternative office insurance.
Paid Time-Off (PTO)
All full-timers, who have been part of the team for over 12 months, become
automatically entitled to Paid Time Off (PTO) in accordance with Lebanese Labor
Law which is 15 days. The same applies to accumulating days carried from added
years of service. PTO may be used for vacation time and/or sick leave.
Holidays
All holidays that are recognized by the Lebanese government are celebrated by
CPH management and staff members.
Overtime Hours
Experience has shown that in order to advance one's career in life, one has to
forsake the 9 to 5 mentality and adopt a more proactive approach and open frame
of mind. And because working in publishing is the culmination of requisite last
minute changes and mounting pressure, this entails putting in extra hours for
the sake of overall production. To that end, employees geared up for working
overtime and who deliver under these conditions shall be provided with suitable
monetary (as per their salaries) and emotional reimbursement.
Transportation Fees
Full-time employed workers are remunerated 6,000L.L. a day in transportation
fees as stipulated by the Lebanese Labor Law.
