Having graduated in 2002 with a BS in Architecture from the American University
of Beirut (AUB), Mr. Mohamad Rabih Chatila -- son of Mr. Fathi Chatila (CPH
President & Publisher) and Mrs. Mona Chatila (Former Administrative
Manager) -- was driven by his passion since the early 1990s to join Chatila
Publishing House (CPH). In 1998, he took his first step as an Assistant Editor
& Researcher with proactive participation and noticeable contribution in
various other departments, all the while trying to improve the overall
management and structure of CPH .
Through hard work, dedication and elevated responsibility in upholding his tasks
and assignments, Mr. Mohamad Rabih gradually went forth the CPH career lane,
having been promoted in 2000 to the position of Editor & Researcher and
again in 2002 to Managing Editor & Assistant General Manager. In January
2004, Mr. Chatila was assigned the duties of General Manager of CPH.
Mr. Mohamad Rabih is a firm believer in the mission of CPH, which is
“Helping Advance the Middle East & North Africa”. In order to achieve this
honorable objective, he makes sure all needed efforts are being made so that
all CPH media bring real, useful, and up-to-date information to readers and
clients. Furthermore, he has continuously insisted on having a bilingual
approach to make sure that the information is reached by the maximum number of
people throughout the MENA region.
Mr. Mohamad Rabih’s ambition and expectations for CPH are very high. This
is because such an institution that has, since its inception in 1977, been
dedicated to helping advance developing regions and all the companies within
the MENA working in industries that are elemental to humanity, deserves nothing
but the very best.
