Rodrigue is an Agricultural Engineer; he graduated from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Agriculture in 2002. Rodrigue later on earned a Master's degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d' Agronomie et d'Industrie Alimentaire (ENSAIA), Nancy, France. He is currently preparing a PhD in the field of dairy supply chain sustainability.

In May 2002, Rodrigue joined CPH 's Editorial and Research (ER) Department, as an Assistant Editor & Researcher of MEF. A year later, he was promoted to Editor & Researcher of the same magazine.

After a one year sabbatical in France in 2003 to pursue his Ph.D in Agriculture, Rodrigue rejoined  CPH in January 2005 as a Senior Editor & Researcher, and was promoted to Managing Editor & Researcher in December 2005.

As a department head Rodrigue is responsible of:

  • Setting editorial & research strategies for ER Department
  • Ensuring all workflows are properly applied and followed
  • Supervising & training of other ER Members
  • General overview of content and planning Editorial Program of CPH Magazines
  • Conducting research on various industries

As a Managing Editor Rodrigue is responsible for:

 

  • Assessment and processing of incoming editorial material from various sources for eventual publishing.
  • Search for up-to-date and relevant information for magazine.
  • Management and archiving of Information.
  • Editing, proofreading, and translation of articles, reports, editorials, reviews, and other material.
  • Determining placement of content based on relative significance and space availability.
  • Gathering and verifying factual information regarding story / article through interview, observation, and research.
  • Organizing material, determining slant or emphasis, and writing story / article according to prescribed editorial style and format standards.
  • Setting the magazine’s deadlines and coordinating all matters related to the production of each issue.
  • Designing page layout scheme for each issue according to gathered material and promotional inclusions.
  • Proofreading and correcting drafts issued from the Graphic & Web Design department after layout.
  • Overall quality control of a magazine’s issue before printing.
  • Revising magazine website periodically, updating copies, and verifying online versions of issues. .
